I have had to problem for a while now and not sure what is the issue
So basicaly, while watching TV it randomly, goes black but the image is restored few seconds later.
What I have is, I have Logitech Revue with Google TV it's HDMI In is connect to Cable Box, and HDMI out is connected to the receiver, that is later connected to my media player, TV, and Xbox.
That receiver cannot do audio over hdmi, so I have additional optical toslink(Cable Box, Xbox) and Coaxial(Media Player). A lot of cables, and they are quite a mess 
This problem happens while watching cable tv and media player but does on happen on xbox
I had my cable box, on top of my receiver, so I think it's maybe a overheating issue with receiver and it has no proper ventilation but I took everything apart last night, and connected only cable box to tv, with hdmi and it continue to flicker for good 5-10 before it stopped. It seem like TV was randomly turning itself off-on..
What is it, fucked up TV? overheating of cable box/ receiver? bad hdmi cable(loose connection)? But I remember having this issue too when I connected my media player to receiver then TV.
