Not sure where to put this but interesting none the less if you own a bravia ..the bravia has been rooted and a custom linux operating system successful launched on it ..focus is now on to get xbmc working on it if possible ...that would meet all my media needs if it happens

Ive had Bravias in my home since summer 2006. Solid fucking television!

Only 1 of 3 have died and it was taken out by a bolt of lightning Laughing

the gains are that linux can be and successfully has be booted from a USB stick ..so potential for better codec support and even possibly XBMC (best htpc software )running directly on it then you can ditch your media centers ...I really hope so ... Of course if it did happen I reackon your tv would also rise in value significantly
