Maybe you have to pair it like the blue tooth blu-ray remotes? Its under settings somewhere.

My Power A Pro elite wireless controller is not working after in installed the version 3.70 update. It won't connect. Is this happening to anyone else? Fix?

Sorry to hear you're having a problem. We've not had any other compatibility issues with the v3.7 update reported so far, so I would suggest resetting the controller. Here's how:
NOTE: Make sure that the controller is already charged when attempting this or it may cut out part-way!
(1) Locate the small reset button on the back of the controller above the POWER A logo. You will need a push pin or paper clip to press it.
(2) Remove and insert the USB Adaptor into the PS3.
(3) Press the reset button for 3 to 5 seconds - this will cause the controller to go into sync mode and reset its connection to the console.
(4) You may also need to restart the PS3 after resetting the controller.
Please let us know if this solves the issue.
