So,

I'm finally taking the plunge into getting an SSD drive and a 1TB HDD (480GB just ain't cuttin' it anymore.

I currently have Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit, it took me a while to get all the settings on it the way I like them. From stopping unnecessary services from running, to my theme, to disabling features, removing bloatware....etc

So for the sake of saving me lots of time when I make the move, I would like to backup these settings and am wondering if its possible for me to do.

Don't care so much about programs and other data I have on it, as it's all backed up on an external drive and won't take much effort to get it back.

I know there are several backup features with Windows 7, but all I really want to backup are my windows settings. What would be the best way to go about this?

Any help or input will be much appreciated.

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one
