As far as I'm concerned, I think The Witcher has the best ending ever! The second game has a great ending now too, but not even close to that of the first game. By ending I mean the epilogue + the outro cinematic.

Ah yes. A very bold move executed flawlessly by Rockstar. It was one of the most memorable endings ever. It was very satisfying to put a bullet into Ross in the final ending.
no, but seriously... max payne 2. hands down. that whole bit about max finding closure, his last line, "I had a dream of my wife. She was dead, but it was all right."... gave me fucking chills. and then the ending credits song.

DAT MUSIC! Fuck anyone who says there wasn't a golden age of gaming. The mid 90s to early 00s was it. SNES was still kicking ass, Saturn with its arcade perfect ports, Playstation was dominating, N64 was pioneering console gaming for the decade to come and PC was leaping into pure 3D acceleration showing off marvels such as Unreal, Half Life and Deus Ex.
The late 90s to mid 00s bought heavy hitters like the Dreamcast and PS2, with PC hardware progressing so fast that it seemed like every other week was some new powerhouse title to lead the pack.
unreal, unreal beta, na pali, deus ex. best soundtracks. The same composer right? At least by the sound of it.
My fav recent track discovered
Finally found beta and na pali soundtrack

Yup, Alexander Brandon. Phenomenal composer that came up from the demoscene and some of his latest stuff was for Alpha Protocol, which was also fantastic
I never knew that:d I thought it is the same dude by the sounds and style:D need to check out alpha protocol music then

(Yes, that runtime is accurate )
(Don't click unless you're absolutely certain )
(the memories!)
(can't have Sonic without Mario! )
(.....lololol, just kidding )
(talkie version, no subs, might be hard to make out... but holy shit what an ending. Never saw that one coming )
Im surprised no one mentionned Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater which is imho possibly the best video game ending ever. It was absolutely brillant. Very well written and emotional.
