I've been looking for a job for a while now, sent my résumé to 10 different companies looking for warehouse workers, rent-a-cops, construction workers, et cœtera.

I'm hoping to land a job in security or construction, the former because all you really do is stand/sit, the latter because it's an actual profession you can build a career out of.

Starting as a simple worker and moving on to bigger and better things within the industry.

But who am I kidding, I'll probably end up working in a kitchen somewhere or cleaning streets.

Blue collar life! Awesome

How old are you? What degrees do you have? How does the CV look like?

Why are you aiming or security/construction? Is it reachable, or is it an impossible utopia?

Almost 23.

What degrees I have? Well, I'm looking for a job as rent-a-cop or construction worker, figure it out. Cool Face

And yes it's reachable, blue collar work for a blue collar guy.

People always ask you to widen your horizen if you can't get a job in the field you want, but im sure its not that difficult to get work in construction. Unless Israel is very different from Scandinavia workwise.

Security and construction are pretty damn different jobs fields. Cool non the less, and good luck Smile

Thank you.

Edit: Holy shit, someone called me back!

Security job in a factory near me, and it's the night shift, which is great.

Well everything fell to shit.

Factory job is unlikely, hotel job, they're looking for people with gun permits.

Some chick called me about a job in sales, they think I'm dumb enough to believe the "GO TO USA, MAKE LOTS OF MONEY!!!1" crap they sell to guillable 20-something-year-olds with dollar signs in their eyes.

The company I contacted about the factory job said they might have a position elsewhere in my area, but I'm not counting on it.

I sent my CV to total of 10 companies, only 4 called me back. My amazing math skills tell me that leaves 6 companies who have yet to contact me.

So that's something.

I'll give them a week or two and then move my search to the streets.
