It's a goddamn shame and a crime that they didn't bother to increase framerate to 60 for the PS4 re-release of the games, especially after their mean teasing with the video of Uncharted 3 running at 60fps and seeing how amazing it looked.
~edit~
I'm a moron. Apparently I completely missed the fact that these are, indeed, 1080p60 re-releases. Wow. I hope to be picking up a PS4 sometime next year.. these are first on the list to buy, alongside Last of Us and Final Fantasy XV
i just remember the broken ps3 i had and fixed almost broke down again at that part were you run away from the helicopter (produced strange gfx errors again and froze for a few sec )
but cmon uc3? 2 is by far the better game, 3 was more like a movie. though im eager to replay 3 too cause it rushed it when i played it cause the ps3 died (again, not fixable after the 5th time then in 2-3 years or whatever it was) and i borrowed a friends one while he was on vacation a week
they bring heavy rain and beyond two souls to ps4? nice, atleast heavy rain. i loved it, but only played it twice. much more to see there. and about beyond, mh played it a bit (played through it with a friend when we got bored of fifa) but that wasnt enough game too, too much movie again
1 was good, for its time. compared to 2 it sucked hard but who am i to judge that? i borrowed a friends ps3 (that one that was ylod later and i repeared and used to hack etc ) to play that and gta iv . sadly i only bought the needed hdmi dvi adapter with gta together so i played uncharted on my old crt tv (a very small one ). looking forward to play it again
Yeah, I felt the stealth parts were badly done too, but it's really more of a gimmick than an actual game system. There's only a couple of missions like that in a pretty long game. Give it a second try, they really are amazing experiences.
about to order it from amazon (since i got two 25euro giftcards left). they have it for 66 euros and the special edition for 79. se is useless i think? it contains a steelbox + artbook + stickers right? dont think i would pay those 13 more for these three things
Finished the short demo last night. 7.5gb for one level is big. It was enjoyable though and I love to play all 3 through again. Gonna get this for sure.
7,5gb is cause it includes every fucking language on the planet i think. friend of mine got a disc from dunno poland i think already. be aware: not all spoken languages included (think its polska, turkish, english and some other eastern european shit. but alteast english)
So they gave a weak excuse for why Golden Abyss wasn't included in the collection. Supposedly the story wasn't considered cannon. I love the Uncharted games but not really because the story but cause of the gameplay. It's no Last of Us storywise so I don't buy that. So since I have the 3 on PS3 I'll just stick with those would have insta bought it with Golden Abyss. I used to own a Vita and I have already beaten Golden Abyss but I wouldn't mind owning it again without having to own a Vita, guess that won't happen.
yep would have been nice if they included that too, but maybe too much work needed to make hd textures etc for the vita version (and it wasnt even made by naughty dog). im looking forward to play the three titles again, especially 2. one of the greatest games ever and since i have no ps3 anymore -> instabuy (which is rare for me in case of ps4 titles, tbh i only own fifa 14 cause it was bundled with it and the last of us remastered). there wasnt an exclusive yet i really wanted to own. borrowed the order from a friend -> mediocre game. as well as until dawn (may get that again when its cheaper to replay in different ways). killzone and infamous are just nothing for me, dont like them. played the destiny beta a lot, but had no reason to buy the full game (and still dont have, even with the new addon)
Naughty Dog "produced" Golden Abyss, but I never know what that means exactly lol. And really, it was made by Sony Bend it's all under the Sony umbrella so it could have been included. I thought it technically was HD on the Vita, but I have no idea the time it would have tooken to make it play on PS4.
Knowing me though i'll probably eventually get this collection when it's cheap and sell my PS3 games just to save space on my shelf.
