So, there's a really awesome show goin' out that is called Metalocalypse, and there isn't a thread on NFOrce about this? Shame, well, guess I'll start it!
Will give ya'll a quick summary of the show first.

The script is apparently mostly improvised in that classic Brendon Small style and that makes for some side splitting and extremely quotable moments. The characters are hilarious. Their voices, designs and quirks make them funny and somehow... lovable characters. I'm having a hard time picking a favorite one.
There's Nathan Explosion, the seemingly indestructible but retarded, anxious, alcoholic lead vocalist. There's Skwisgaar: Swedish, generally cynical and smart Alec, also loose and somehow the fastest guitarist alive. There's Toki, the whiny, "tweenish" and naive Norwegian who just so happens to be the second fasted guitarist alive. There's Pickles, Wisconsinite drummer with serious substance abuse issues, a dorky accent and a head of fiery combed-over dreadlocks. And last, but not least, Murderface, the violent and hateful bassist (who can play with his junk, by the way) who has some unresolved traumatic childhood issues. Often times he reverts back to an almost childlike state and can be heard murmuring things like, "I miss Pickles." (And random side note about Murderface. I noticed shortly after the series started that he looked exactly like the man from the opening of Ace Ventura Pet Detective. |
Been following the series from S1 to S2 now and I am having a blast, they've even released a REAL album that is simply called"The Dethalbum"
Thread sucks I know but I felt like starting one!

I'm glad that I am not the only one who totally adores this show!
The only thing that bothers me is the somewhat short episodes (10 minutes), but it is still a very hilarious show, and cool.

I also saw that Tripping the Rift is back with a third season and there are no scene releases for it, damn...

You can watch it on Joost (Adult Swim)...
I checked a couple episodes but i didn't like it, has some nice touches, but the overall environment seemed pretty weird |

they have only one episode on joost. I really start to dislike joost for its lack of good programming and short commercials inbetween... Quality and speed of delivery arent great either.
the episode was awesome to deth though
I guess i ll try to watch the other episodes by other means then =)

I could have sworn i saw at least 3 there... strange, anyway, i also don't use Joost much, the commercial breaks are starting to get annoying indeed, and quality is very crappy

yeah, i did just that
Great first season,all the metal voice-actors that had cameos and the over the top metal stories really made me laugh out loud many times. Music is awesome too

Show is awesome - I was introduced to it about a year ago. Only place i was able to watch it was on dailymotion. Never really saw the tv-rips floating around - ah well.
Not really the same but another kick ass show -- wish it would have run more then one ep!

Although not an exactly great source . Wiki has "Fertilityklok" being shown on the 27th of September
Never realised there was 5 episodes in the last run , thats bullshit. I thought it had the same run as the venture brothers
wonder how many we will get in this run :/

Not an excellent episode , but it has moments of sheer brilliance

Starting with season 3 the episodes went from 15mins to 30mins so i suspect there will be only half the episodes.

First episode was decent. The girlfriend subject was already covered in an older season though, I hope this doesn't mean that they've run out of ideas.

A bit on the short side I think... hopefully they'll churn out episodes at a faster rate now.
