I was wondering if anyone's still playing this gem, or maybe has played it recently, and knows anyway to get widescreen working within it.

I already did some obligatory searching on the web but didn't turn up anything conclusive, so I'd appreciate if anyone knows something about this and can share.

http://www.wsgf.org/dr/warhammer-40000-dawn-war there you go hellbeans but 1.4 pretty much broke the widescreen support / game

your better off playing the expansions sadly if you want proper widescreen support Sad

You can do what I do. I own the retail CD, bought it on Steam and of course.. possess several "rips", but I just got around to playing the game a few months back (still on the first installment). Just don't update the game past v1.3 (impossible on Steam of course).

I am a W40K fan of the highest order.. but I'm not into "statistics" and 1.3's been playing fine for me. In other words.. I don't really notice balance issues or glitches. As soon as I move on to Winter Assault though, WS support will be back so it's not an issue.
