EA ether have no idea what world Indie means in gaming, or they know its meaning perfectly and are just using it for commercial aspects.

His sauce he said was the Steam registry

There's one way to confirm that

Source for price, I meant, since the registry doesn't have prices. Smile

As for the bundle itself... I don't care that much. At a tenner I would've bitten, but £15? It's good value, yes, but the only game I care about (possibly) is Warp, and all the titles in the bundle are on special offers individually anyways.

It's definitely irritating that they're calling this indie, it's just another example of EA muscling in on something popular and pretty much destroying it in the process. I know it's suddenly "cool" around here to hate on Notch, but fuck people like that ... to be honest ... so here's Notch's opinion on it;

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/markus-notch-persson-attacks-ea-for-their-indie-bundle-ea-is-a-bunch-of-cynical-bastards/

Quote:

https://twitter.com/#!/notch/status/197991770817167360
“EA releases an “indie bundle”? That’s not how that works, EA. Stop attempting to ruin everything, you bunch of cynical bastards.”

https://twitter.com/#!/notch/status/197992550144032768
“Indies are saving gaming. EA is methodically destroying it.”

next up, THQ releases indie bundle...

ea just wants the games to get more traction than they have at the moment. can't blame them. calling it indie is disgusting, but whatever... typical pc derp gamers won't know any better.
