The new season will start tomorrow (Grand Prix of Qatar) , Stoner is the big favourite as usual, but Yamaha are still there, with Lorenzo and Spies ready to challenge Honda's supremacy.

Ducati on the other hand is slower than ever, poor Rossi Crying or Very sad Laughing

Haha yeah, he fell into the Spanish trap, Rossi you silly goose Razz
He was really a noob for (re)acting like that, which was exactly what Marquez was looking for since the beginning, following all the drama and quarrels that have been going on for weeks like in the telenovelas.

At this point it's a tough cookie for Valentino, starting from the last position the next race means that the title is 90% gone. It's a shame that such a great season has found such a ghetto-like way to end Sad Laughing

Yup, despite the epic comeback there was really nothing to do, a shame. The Spanish inquisition had to seal the deal till the very end. Evil or Very Mad Laughing As if there were any doubts about Marquez trying to protect and favor Lorenzo, (once again) it felt like a farce.

It's not different from match-fixing when you think about it, a lot of credibility was lost this year sadly. Kudos to Pedrosa for being the only Spanish driver with some dignity at least. Razz

quite sure would have been Rossi to be doing that now everyone would be crying out loud in Spain: ITALIA MAFFIA! SPAGHETTI MAFFIA! BOLOGNESE MAFFIA!

I think it's still early to tell, but so far Vinales has been impressive in the tests (unlike the poor Vale). The Hondas are doing alright too as per usual, and the Ducatis seem to be struggling still as expected. Who knows, hopefully Lorenzo will manage to squeeze something more out of them, though it's not easy.

(Btw, welcome to the Humps!)

Vinales was impressive, Lorenzo made a mistake at the start cost him badly. I was surprised to see Zarco leading in the initial laps sadly he DNF.
I am just happy Rossi made to the podium although i still doubt his performance over the season. Deep inside want him to clinch the title.

Haha indeed, it's very true, plus if we exclude Italy, Spain and a few other countries MotoGP in general is a relatively niche sport. England and USA for instance barely reserve any space for it in the headlines, and the marketing machine isn't the greatest despite the money involved.
It's really entertaining though even if one doesn't care about the names, there are usually battles with many overtakes and fierce competition (almost too much at times xD), you should start watching it out of curiosity Very Happy

Definitely it is a niche sports and at the same time exciting to watch the event. People can spare 2 hrs for a game of football, 1 hr for Basketball, and so many other ball hitting games that make you stick to the screen for hours. Sparing 30-40 minutes for a race bothers so much to so many. Well its everyone's own choice and liking. I do watch other sports and do watch Motogp with the same excitement.

I got my time covered with F1 and GP2, takes up so much time during the weekends that I wouldn't even dare to add another sport to it... however little time it may be. The other half is already quite forgiving with me missing birthdays or other family events when it happens during an F1 weekend.

It does seem interesting though, been exposed to it by someone I follow on twitter. Probably would like it but with what I said above: skippedieskip.

Happy to see Valentino on the top of the leader board. Although the points difference is not much. Lets see what is in store at Le Mans.

It was heartbreaking, he had it in the bag after an amazing race, and then...a shame Razz Sad

Still less weird that Moto3's race, where for some arcane reason nobody cleaned up the track from the oil: https://streamable.com/k6fe1 Laughing

The season keeps getting better and better, quite amazing really. Every single race is a black box of unpredictability, with four crazy riders having almost equal chances of winning. The biggest surprise however is Dovizioso, he's flying with his Ducati against all odds, also showing some genuine grit.

So far the best race was the Austrian GP from a couple of weeks ago, absolute madness xD

Unless something exceptional happens like Marquez being abducted and probed by an alien spaceship, this season is basically already over. He's in a league of his own, good ol' Valentino is still going strong at 39 but sadly a second place is all he can achieve at the moment.

Yamaha and Ducati will have to work damn hard this and next year in order to fill the gap and make things more interesting again...it's not the true MotoGP without genuine drama. Very Happy

The 2020 season so far is surprisingly entertaining given the circumstances, a complete black box of insanity. Marquez is still out for injury so right now it's free real estate, almost anyone can snag a win Razz

Speaking of crazy stuff, Rossi and Vinales were very lucky men yesterday Dude Surprised
