tried transferring the psn version of FF7 from my friend's PS3 onto my own psp running CFW 5.50 gen-d but can't start the game.

oddly enough i can run ripped psn versions of games fine enough(like FF8) but a retail one transferred from a ps3 can't.

anyone know what's wrong?

Probably protected/encrypted ?

I think you can use a decrypter like ISO tool ? Not sure.

no idea.

been searching for a stupid replacement p2p upload but haven't been able to since the filesharing site scandal.

i'm trying my luck with the regular ps1 version.
