it's not useless. it's actually pretty awesome. showing great potential. he has other projects too.
he's not 14. clearly.  sort of puts us to shame actually. it requires great knowledge to build something like that, and some of other projects he has done.

Look up Charles Babbage etc...
This minecraft guy had the core design templates and an understanding of how they worked. He simply spent a LOT of time implementing it in Minecraft. Some would say impressive, others would say "what a waste of time" while the rest would say "OCD".
