An interesting read about how an obsessive guy helped in the destruction of a very promising and unique MMO (not that SOE needed help in that, they were quite competent in being incompetent, but the guy certeanly didn't help).

The first thought that came to mind as I was reading was "damn, and I thought I was a fuckin' nerd". I kind of chastised myself afterward thinking "whatever, if that's how he wants to spend his time".

As I read on however I began to realize just how low of a scum sucking greedy fuck this guy was. Making fake currency in an MMO is one thing - but as soon as you turn around and physically PROFIT from that (and support a fucking sweat shop industry in the process), you deserve to be fucking sued.

Hell, he more or less admitted to it in the article. I'm not one for supporting the likes of modern day SOE, but I vehemently hope they turn around and sue his fucking exploitative ass.

Reading the guys text made me think of the book bringing down the house which was later made into the film 21.
But you gotta respect the guy for what he did, I just couldnt believe some of the stuff he wrote.

Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

Haha reminds me a bit of news I heard recently that in North Korea*, prisoners work in the mines in the morning and in the evenings they mine/farm WoW gold. It was supposed to be much more profitable than the real mining itself.
