His whole mindset is just brilliant. A lot of what programmers, designers, animators etcetera do is still etched on continuing with old techniques on a computer. There's so much more a computer can do nowadays and so much is unused.
Not just web development. Mobile development also has fucking terrible tools. Heck, even in desktop development there are many concepts he brings up that are just missing, even though they're technically completely possible nowadays
For example, who wouldn't at least try to make a movie using tools like that... It is quite easy even for the newcomers. It would open up a completely new genre of newbie animation movies.
I would certainly try it.
And here's a good business idea to develop those tools to platform it.
