Hi all,

just wondering if any you could direct me in splitting an 800mb mpeg into half, so that I can put it on 2 cd's.

zeta, the way SVCD (this is what the mpeg is) works is that around 800 will fit on a cd, because it uses some sort of compression.

1.) Start up Nero and select SuperVideo CD or SVCD or whatever.. click new
2.) Renam your mpg file to AVSEQ01.MPG
3.) Place this file in the directory in Nero on the left called "MPEG2"
4.) Click Burn
5.) Enjoy

have used there avi and mpeg splitter on occasions, mostly before i got a dvd burner Smile

and if you really want to cut

1.) get tmpeg
2.) file/svcd editor or something
3.) cut
