Are we really sure these are actual screenshots and not concept art ?
If so that's quite a change in art style from the first 2 games not that it's bad it looks

I really liked Darksiders1.
Played some of 2 and did not liked all the inventory stuff. But I ditched that game too early

I've decided I care nothing for any game until it's out and I can see it being played (or I can ISO demo it). I'm tired of being disappointed time and time again. I made the right decision not getting Mass Erection, and that's pretty much where I made my mind up.

The artistic direction of Darksiders was never something to be taken seriously. Look at the angel's weapons and armors or the oversized models/weapons.
It's those eyes, the pupils are weird, but maybe it's subject to change. I'm more interested if this game can actually capture the essence of Darksiders while continuing the story.
