some games work without any troubles since you can save at the end of disc1 for example, then just load up disc2 and load that save. on others, you can drop files from all discs into one folder if they don't have the same names (so they don't overwrite each other). if that doesn't get you anywhere, use dashlaunch with discswap plugin

I also believe that you can rip them into GOD container format and put all the files in the same folder (preferably named after the game ID). Then, to hide the second, third, and sixteenth disc(s) from FSD, just select the disc from the game menu, click, Y (I think that's the options, isn't it?), and choose something like, "Move game," or, "Move game to section," or somesuch. Then, just choose the blank section and click A/X/whatever to complete. This will hide the game title when you are browsing and, if you are like me, this is helpful. If, for some reason, you need to get that disc back onto your games list, you must do a manual refresh of the titles, which requires you to clear the cache data and reload, thus erasing all of your box art, screenshots, etc.
Hope this info helps!
