This video has "Original" as quality, above 1080p.

Now i did read that it was 4k quality (Link), but the guy says "quad hd", so does that means he rendered at a resolution of 7680x4320 (4x 1080p) or 5120x2880 (4x 720p)?

And how do i get to render at these kinda resolutions when i cannot go that high with h264 codec?

Video as example what i mean:

Check his channel, all his footage of games is recorded with somehow having "original" avaible.

Nope it doesn't, it's not pixel perfect (blurry) and youtube says the average bitrate is 770? Laughing 2560x1440 is the resolution btw and I think it looks like crap Razz

Oh and he might've encoded it as WMV Smile

Did a test at 4k(?)

Pc couldn't handle it and crashed the program after 5 secs encoding -.-'

No, i refuse to use handbrake or such a program, i want to be able to edit my videos before encoding them Neutral

Yea but that means i have to encode the files with uncompressed avi, wich result in even bigger files then fraps.
I do have 3TB avaible for frapsing, but dont think that will cut it.

Quality it doesnt look too bad for me anyway:

I see you're not good at maths.

1080p - 1920 x 1080 = 2073600

4K (Quad HD) - 3840 x 2160 = 8294400

So:

4K/1080p - 8294400 / 2073600 = 4

We see now that 4K is 4 times bigger than 1080p. (In terms of area (resolution).)

They were rendering it at 4096 x 2304 which is over 4x 1080p. 4x 1080p means 3840x2160.

3840x2160 is four times larger than 1920x1080.
7680x4320 would be 16x 1080p.
