8 classes, 4 trade skills, and 127 total skills that you can train as you progress. Almost 2000 missions. Thousands of different items that can be obtained or constructed.
Empire Creation
Construct space bases to protect trade routes, extract resources from planets, or host mining operations. Found a colony and nurture it along to massive profitability. Direct robotic trade slaves to keep your empire running 24/7.
Free to Play
Star Sonata 2 will be completely free to play with no trial limit. There will be some spacial areas for premium players.

Has anyone played this or the prequel? Looks very interesting. I would be downloading it now if not for the fact that I just started playing SPAZ for the first time.

Egh... tried it, not all that keen to be honest :\ It looks and plays like a poor man's Space Rangers - and since I'm not all that keen on multiplayer games at the best of times, it's too much of a step back from the Space Rangers titles I already have.

@ wizarD, no, it came out of beta recently.
@ sabin I see. A bit disappointed in your "review". The screens and videos looked pretty good. I will still have to install this one of these days and see for myself.
