Previous Disney/Marvel were getting 5% of profits.
They wanted 50%. Obviously Sony wanted to keep it at 5%. Hence their breaking up.
With the new deal the two parties agreed for Disney/Marvel to be getting 25%, the middle ground between what they wanted, and what they had before. Fair, I guess.
Cool.

Sony's Venom and Sinister Six could become part of the universe per Deadline above.
Quote:
We hear that as Sony progresses their own Marvel universe with titles likes Venom 2 and Sinister Six, and Disney/Marvel their own, there could be a “call and answer” between the two franchises as they acknowledge details between the two in what is would loosely be described as a shared detailed universe. Details on that are still early.

"forgot"
about Spiderman. Both Tom Lolland and Andrep Gurrfield are terrible as usual. The friends, the fat and the junkie ones, are terrible actors, with terrible dialog, and were terrible overall whenever on-screen. The entire plot was so lazy. Basically, nothing new, just waste a movie by bringing old 3D models from previous movies, with paper-thin plot. I guess Alfred Molina needed to build a new porch.
The only thing good in this was Tobey Maguire. He is missed, from a different era of comic book movies. And of course, he is totally wasted in this Disney/Marvel/Sony garbage.
