In the first trailer for "Chernobyl Diaries," "Paranormal Activity" creator Oren Peli's newest horror project, we see a group of six young tourists on an "extreme tour" of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. What was once the site of the greatest nuclear accident is now a mysterious haunted wasteland, in which the group will find themselves stranded alone to face an evil presence. Peli, who wrote and produced the film, hands over directing chores to Brad Parker, a visual effects vet who's making his directorial debut. The film opens on May 25th.

These types of movies are called "found footage film".
And I avoid them like the plague, the only one I watched and enjoyed was the original Blair Witch, because it was the first of its kind. Nowadays it sucks just like the rest.

I dont think it looks too bad, could be entertaining.
The one thing that bugs me is it looks like the guide lets them enter buildings without any radiation suits etc.
That shit is stupid.
But apart from that, I'll watch it!

Found footage is the good kind of movie for chernobyl... but ...found footage... mutated crazy stupid monsters which might as well be paper cuts, becouse camera shakes so much

i look outside and see those buildings/apartments in the trailer. reminds me of hl2. all were like wow but us guys from eastern europe were like"meh - we this this everyday".
