thinking of upgrading for xmas, found this bundle on novatech, seems cheap, like too cheap! am i missing something?

rams CHEAP now a days..the MB is the bare bones basics microATX foxconn, budget bottom of the barrel MB. also thats the 2600 not the 2600K
I can put that together as separate pieces, for less than that price..

(doing dollars to pounds)
the CPU is around 192 pounds.
MB is around 40 pounds,
rams 25 pounds, and that's me picking 1600 not 1333.
thats 257 (399 US).

CPU is 240 quid, motherboard 60-70, RAM is 20-25. Totals out at 330-340 at most. So no, that's not a good bundle, since the board and RAM are both most likely some budget no-name parts.

ahh was assuming it was straight pounds, never bought and shipped to europe..my mistake Razz

still not that good a deal. the MB would make me worry. foxconn makes good ones. but any brands low ends is flaky.

im no expert, its been so long since i upgraded, i dont mind keeping my cd drive and hd etcm just need a mobo, ram and intel i series proc, if you guys can find a good bundle let me know
