I digress. Unwritten Law is a bit more "alternative" than 3DD, which leans more toward Popular Rock, circa 1997-1999. I'd recommend a few, since I used to/still do listen to music akin to this:
- Green Day
- Creed
- Element Eighty
- Papa Roach
Try these, especially Creed and EE's "Broken Promises".
Element Eighty? Umm, nah...they´re a bit harder imo...
And i think their album is one of the best ones i´ve heard. SO why not ask you guys if you know any band like them?
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc
Not sure if this thread gets checked anymore, but wtf...
Yesterday a friend handed me a CD and just said "you've gotta listen to this".
It turned out to be Shinedown's "Leave A Whisper". Being a 3DD fan, I can only say that SD is like 3DD in style, but somewhat darker in lyrics. Definitely a must hear.
I've got it on my PC @ 500kbps VBR OGG. It's the format I always rip in. OGG sounds like lossless (even through a good headset like my Grado SR80) even at 128kbps. It really shines, though, in higher quality. The album takes up ~150mb, which is ~25% of it's original size, and the quality is simply indistinguishable from a 1:1 copy.
