|
 |
I accidenly deleted my music folder which was around 200gb.
i wasnt paying attention and apparently if folder is too large, it won't go to trash and will just delete folder immidietly
I have always used GetDataBack for NTFS to recover files that were sent to Trash can and later deleted from trash can..so i easily went to trash folder and they all were there
since that folder didn't went to trash can..how can i recover those files? I cant find them when I select the drive I deleted the music from
halp plz

If you have been using the drive since this happened then they are likely not recoverable.

It happened last night while I was drunk, I just sober up recently and wanted to listen to some music but no dice
I have tried Ashampoo Undelete. Undelete360 and few others but none of them see the music folder or any of the mp3 files
I can undelete for example Dexter episode from 2 weeks but it was deleted thru Recycle Bin. Does it really make difference?

To be honest, I have absolutely no idea how Windows handles the removal of it's own "special" folders/libraries.

I downloaded it and picked "in-depth" scanning because regular didn't help much, but it did let me recover song from year 2007 kinda broken but

There we go, Recuva "in-depth" scanning shows all of the mp3...recovering them as we speak

i use r-studio if i deleted something in the last 5 minute, is faster to find files, and get data back if i deleted some time ago. it takes a lot more time vs r-studio.
