jeez, never mind. As much as I dislike some of the shit in TWO, it's 100x better than this WGT game. It only took me one hole to realize that.

TW On line
You can either choose do a career mode where you play by yourself or challenge other players (you can meet up with friends online and organize your own tournaments). As for what you get by upgrading your membership to premium level ($9.99 a month or $59.99 for the year), you can play any course available, not just the two "open" courses EA has designated as free courses. At the moment, these include St. Andrews and Sheshan, but EA says it will soon start rotating the "open" courses. Other than access to the premium courses, free players can do everything else.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online also employees a points-based transaction system that allows players to purchase packages of points at $9.99, $19.99 and $39.99 that can be used on in-game transactions, such as rounds of golf and Pro Shop items that will improve your play. If you purchase the annual membership, you receive unlimited rounds on all available courses and you get a package of points that can be spent on Pro Shop items. Like all freemium games, the idea is to get you hooked on the game and have you spend some extra dough to get more out of it or gain a performance advantage.

That's correct. The free courses rotate. Sometimes it's one course, sometimes it's two or three. All paying does is give you access to more tournaments, all the courses instead of what's free, and it gives you access to BS equipment to give you stat bonuses or bonuses to the money you earn while playing (I think as a free player you only have access to the 2x money stuff). But, honestly, I don't want any of that shit. I don't want clubs to give me a 30% bonus to power to I can nail 450 yard drives and regularly 2-shot par 5 holes. Even with the free stuff and the base equipment I could still shoot a -20 on some courses off the easy tees. The scoring is a bit ridiculous (guys with max stats shooting in the 30's ?!) but it's still fun for an occasional game.

From Friday this week (Black Friday) To Monday - Free Rentals. If you leveled up and didn't want to put the money into new clubs you can rent for free so long as you have the level or tier requirements. If you want to play with me, add Spazmotic and send me a PM and we will yell at each other over match/stroke play.
