Jesse Eisenberg (Adventureland) as Mark Zuckerberg

Directed by David Fincher (Se7en , Zodiac , The Game , Fight Club , Panic Room , Benjamin Button)

I LOVE Fincher's work , but i was dissapointed on how mainstream Benjamin Button was . Sure it was great but still , i wish he'd chosen something else , since Zodiac was very very good.

I saw them a few days ago, this is one of those movies that will either be very good or a abysmal piece of crap.
With the cast he's picking up I have serious doubts about this.

trailer at least looks intriguing , and most people who were skeptical and thought it was going to stink were very satisfied with the script , as in they said they liked it and saw why Fincher chose this.
Hmmmz... the fact its David Fincher will probably get me to this on opening night, but why did he do this over "Black Hole", "Rendezvous with RAMA", or "Torso"???
You guys are judging the movie for what you think it is. The script has a great story with great dialog.
The ending (also means nothing if you do not know the journey if the character to this end)
Spoiler:
The script ends with a chilling and heartbreaking scene. It's 3 years later, with Mark being sued by Eduardo, Tyler and Cameron, for the full 16 billion dollars the company is worth. We've been cutting back and forth to this deposition over the course of the screenplay, and now the long day has ended. Mark sits alone in a dark room, in front of his computer, all the money in the world and not one true friend to show for it. Looking back to the last time he was happy - his relationship with Erica - he pulls up Facebook, the site he invented, slides the mouse up to "add friend" and sends her a friend request. Afterwards, despite the millions of daily operations requiring his attention at that moment, he waits for her to accept. He'll wait forever if he has to.

well , i've read Torso and the ending is really stupid and like Fincher said , He says he wants to make it the Citizen Kane of cop movies -- and demythologize Eliot Ness , sounds good since he approached sofar in 2 way , and i don't see anymore after a 3rd attempt.

from what i'm reading , it'll clock around 3 hours , not a biggie since i saw Zodiac Director's Cut multiple times and never thought about the time since i was so into it.
If it wont get any big nominalizations for 2011 Oscars then the movie will be fucking brilliant , Zodiac didnt get shit it and it deserved plenty (Screenplay , Editing , Cinematography , Direction ) while Benjamin Button got alot and it is by far his worst picture.

Sony has asked the writer of the Social Network (Sorkin) to pen the script for the Steve Jobs movie, and he is seriously considering it.
Quote:
"Sony has asked me to write the movie and it's something I'm strongly considering,"
"Right now I'm just in the thinking-about-it stages," he said. "It's a really big movie and it's going to be a great movie no matter who writes it."
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
