When her father is murdered right in front of her eyes, a young woman abandons everything to join the criminal underworld and infiltrate the police force undercover—all to find and destroy the one who took her father from her.
Binge-watched in today, and I quite liked it. It felt like a mix of Infernal Affairs and a revenge flick. The pacing is great. Not a single filler episode.
Obviously it's not as good as IA, that film was amazing but overall I really enjoyed it despite some minor flaws, and I liked that it didn't have a Hollywoodish happy ending.
The main actors did a nice job especially the one who played the boss. The main song is pretty catchy
Hopefully there won't be a second season coz it's better to leave it where they finished the show. I think the ending was very satisfying.
It doesn't have the clean western acting that we usually get, which makes the scenes alternate between feeling natural or cringy. But the actors do a pretty good job, especially the boss of the organization (also mentioned by h0rnyfavn above).
The choreography wasn't bad and seeing a woman beating guys in a more realistic way (most of the time) was refreshing. The special effects were a bit iffy, but I didn't mind.
