Pretty good so far, intro is a bit blocky at the higher resolutions as it's pre-rendered but the game itself looks quite OK though it is a bit behind but the art is nice and the music and voice acting fits in nicely, game also uses a lot of humor but as I only just left the castle where the game begins I can't comment yet on how the rest will be, initial games relied a lot on trial and error as dying happened frequently and the puzzles were problematic (Though I was rather young when I played them.) still being cautious though and saving frequently.
Images from the intro.
(It's fairly silent but starts the adventure off in a rather nice way, bit compressed due it being a video file, also recommended to launch the configuration program after installation to set preferences and visuals, running it windowed at 1440x900 myself with all advanced effects enabled.)
And finished, seems this is more of a light demo than a full episode (Though I'm unsure how long they're planning for the game to be actually.), about a hour or so at most and it's very straightfoward.

mediocre game an insult to the series, just watch the graphics, voices, music, etc, etc...
this game deserves much better, but just look what they've done to adventure games so far.
Tis is an insult to the Kings quest fans.
(Really need to finish Silver Lining also but I'm stuck in the KQ remakes - adventure games sure have changed over the years so I kinda die all the time in these games now, which is fun too.)
