In 1908, a meteor hit deep into the remote Siberian territory of Tunguska. Now, more than 100 years later, 16 contestants descend on Tunguska unknowing of the land’s mysterious past. When a contestant is badly injured and no help arrives, the contestants are met with the chilling realization that the strange occurrences are not part of the show. With their safety threatened, competing contestants must band together in an effort to survive. “Siberia” is an Infinity Films Production in association with Sierra/Engine Television and Welldone Productions. Executive producers are Ohoven, Slava Jakovleff and Philip. The series was created by Matthew Arnold. Sierra/Engine Television will handle the worldwide distribution rights for the series and will present it at the May screenings.
Season 1, Episode 1 - “Pilot”
Sixteen contestants from around the world are dropped off by helicopter into an unpopulated Siberian wilderness. With only the clothes on their backs, the contestants must try to survive this “last man/woman standing” endurance competition with no rules or help from producers or the outside world to win a big cash prize. Leaders and followers emerge as the contestants’ survival is constantly threatened as they are faced with frightening events and unexpected situations that go horribly awry.
just watched the first episode and it has promise of being something cool. Interesting concept for sure (really looks like a reality show hehe. Guess that will change eventually, i mean, once stuff goes all fucked up, i doubt the cameramen would just go on filming like nothing happens lol.
first episode really felt like a "real" survivor type show. And then shit goes wrong and you don't know what the fuck is going on ... want episode 2 hehe.

Dead Set <3, it was so damn awesome. Great acting, pace, direction, tension..everything was perfect. Only 5 episodes though :< (but at least we got a 'proper' conclusion).
