yo

i have a lot of movies on my computer, new and old, that i have renamed to their proper names(only), so my problem is that i dont know wich group they come from. is there a way u could find this out? like a program or similiar.

the reason is because of that i dont know if the movies are the latest and best quality thats out there and i dont have that good of a connection to go downloading and check if they are.

hah you dont trust me? and what the hell do u mean with that?

hmm true, if i download a sample i can see what quality the movie is, but i cant see if its the same as mine. im no expert =|

for example i wouldnt see the difference if i had the "The Rules of Attraction CD2 sample" or "The Rules of Attraction CD2 REPACK sample"

the movie ended weird, so i checked if the release was nuked and it was and there was an repack for cd2 out, that i didnt know about. instead of downloading the whole cd2 i wondered if i could check my cd2 to see if it was the repack versionen with a program instead. but no answers here yet so i began downloading it, started downloading it many hours ago and now its finished. and what do u know? same weird ending. i checked imdb and funny enough it was suppose to end weird like that :S doh

You could check your .avi with GSpot and compare it with information in the .nfo's. GSpot will give you the codec (is it XViD or DiVX5 or DiVX3 or...), the bitrate of the videostream, the audiostream (ac3 or mp3, and at which bandwith) and the length of the movie. Search for the movie on the nforce-site and compare the information with the information you have Smile
