http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/09/16/attention-all-pc-gamers-the-open-beta-of-pc-gamer-digital-is-live/

It's limited to the Steam US store, but you can download it from this link: steam://install/92500 from everywhere in the world.

Basically it's a digital magazine made by the PC Gamer staff. It has videos, social features (you can comment on the articles, vote, etc) and it's interactive with the mouse.

It's in beta, and currently at least this first issue is free.

It's promising, but its content is pretty limited for now.

It's also interesting to see that lately Steam is accepting stuff like the Final Hours of Portal 2 ebook, Prima guides, and now this digital mag on its store.

Give it a try!

PS It also has 4 achievements Aww Yeah

Stuff like this might be interesting.

Personally, I haven't seen that yet, but if it's anything like gamespot's "The final hours of Half-Life 2" then hooray for more of those.
BTW consolitis, do you know some more "The final hours of >insert game here<" articles?

I didn't fix anything. It's gamespot's old site, it doesn't work always. Sometimes you have to reload a couple of times the page you want to see. Smile

Microsoft has a deep pouch of money. It's no wonder why the game's been getting these highly-rated reviews.

i like the way they present the magazine, some voice overs are stupid ("word up yo"....). but i really like this idea.
unfortunately i believe the content is really shallow, i may not be the target audience for this magazine .
