So Toshiba figured they'd jump into the tablet race as well, and dear lord are they doing it right. Their previous tablet (Folio) was shit, this one really isn't.

Thinner than the GT 10.1 and no fucking Tegra 2. Instead it has TI's OMAP 4430, which is 2xA9 @ 1.2 with an SGX540 - same CPU as the iPad 2 (albeit 200MHz faster, not much point in that), not entirely sure what the difference between the SGX540 and the iPad's SGX543 is though, as from what I can tell they're identical apart from (and this is funny) DX9 support on the 543 Laughing
Need to fetch the tech sheets on both at some point, too lazy right now.

Apart from that it comes with the typical standard stuff on Android tablets: Micro USB, Micro HDMI, Micro SD, IPS @ 1280x800 (although according to Tweakers.net the prototype has some colour banding, I'm sure that'll be fixed by launch). Added bonus is a hardware switch to lock screen orientation. And on top of that, I fucking love how it looks Very Happy

Finally a serious non-Tegra alternative.
