No thread for this yet, it seems! Never was a massive fan of QT or his movies, but somehow whenever one is released, it's a bit of an event. And westerns are always cool. Razz

Why do they even call this movie "Django"? Even the title "Black Dynamite 2: Unchained" would make more sense.

On one hand, Tarantino.

On the other, Jamie Foxx.

I loathe that guy, he's a whiny little bitch diva and knowing that he's such a whiny fuck makes it impossible for me to tolerate him on screen, and usually I have no problem enjoying a movie even if the actor is an asshole.

Also I haven't enjoyed a performance by DiCaprio since the 90s.

Is it? Or is it based on all those unofficial sequels and Tarantino just thought he's could make one too? Philosopheraptor

Not a fan of Jaime Foxx either.

As for DiCaprio; I'd say he is one of the better actors currently working in the business. Blood Diamond he did a great job in. Shutter Island I thought he was brilliant in. Inception he did a decent job in as well.

IMO, in terms of actors currently 'working' I think he is in my top 3. A lot of the 'great' 90's/early 2000's actors .. aren't doing much anymore.

I only disagree on the DiCaprio part and IMO it's the other way around, his 90's performances suck ass when compared to his >2000 work Very Happy

I don't think he's a bad actor at all, I can recognize good acting but it just doesn't resonate with me like his '90s work.

I watched all of the above and enjoyed them all.

Though I had a hard time concentrating while watching Blood Diamond because all I could think about was how much I wanted to bang Jennifer Connelly. Cool Face

this

and this

Never watched Titanic, Romeo and Juliet...I remember wanting to bang Claire Danes and nothing else.

The gif is from that western he made? Never saw it.

His current stuff is good, but the movies I mentioned are there ones I truly enjoyed watching.
