So what's your favourite soundtrack based on a movie?
I'll put up a vote on "The lord of the rings: The two towers" by Howard Shore.

"Hooked on a feeling", hmm, isn't that the song that they use in many food commercials?

I like Magnolia's soundtrack.
"Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true..."

Since I think soundtracks with just a bunch of artists are uninteresting, I will just take musical soundtracks (meaning: Music that is specifically created for the film in question).
And with this line of thinking I nominate Fightclub, hands down the best damn soundtrack I've heard ever. Runner up: the soundtrack of the Ghost in the Shell-anime.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

I loved the Matrix Revolutions soundtrack. And anything by Hans Zimmer is good.
