Like Tanks and Warplanes, World of Battleships will be free to play, and will feature a “straightforward interface, easy-to-use controls, and a common economic system that will allow players to distribute resources between the three games for the ultimate progress in each of them.”

World of Battleships will let players take control of a large selection of warships and wage naval war in scenarios based on the biggest boat battles of the 20th Century. Players will have to pilot their machines, manage their weapons and adapt to changing weather conditions mid battle. It sounds as though we can expect a similar level of customisation to World of Tanks, too. “All the machines have a unique combination of firepower, speed, armor, and endurance.”

Hoping they have plans to combine this with Warplanes. Would make it a whole lot more interesting.

Why not combine all THREE "World Of" games? World of Tanks, for ground-based combat, World of Warplanes for aerial combat and this new World of Battleships for navy? Awesome stuff Very Happy

What about combing all 'World of ... ' games into a single one allowing you to play with all military machines to your liking? Very Happy

Well, considering how many people already complain about not being able to damage certain tanks in WoT..

Don't get me wrong, combining all three games would make for something amazing, but it'd be hell to balance.

considering Wargaming ,i belive the russians get the big badass battleships, we germans or the us/uk never had Very Happy

Say what?Do you know your history?What Russian battleship could of competed with an Iowa class battleship?They didn't even have anything that could compete with earlier US battleships.The UK's and Germany's battleships were leaps ahead of the Soviets to.The few battleships the Soviets had were still pretty much WW1 tech and older in WW2. Laughing

Then your not playing a decent wargame.About the only decent ship the Soviets had was the Arkhangelsk which was a hand me down built by the UK.

These video games can't compete with games like Harpoon,Task Force 1942,Great Naval Battles by SSI and the naval board games put out by Avalanche Press (Great War at Sea Series).You can have that fictional multiplayer shoot em up crap. Rolling Eyes

These two new games may be the reason why world of tanks evolves so slow.
All they do is adding a few tanks and tweak a bit, but it's still the same random battles as in beta.
All they added are clanwars, something i don't care about untill they limit tiers to 8 and 6 (which will be added in the future)

But world of warplanes and world of battleships do sound interesting.
