So i have that Chicony USB 2.0 integrated webcam on the laptop of one of my buddy but unfortunately it seems that the software that goes with it is buggy on Wibdows 7 (cam start and stop after a few seconds). Not to mention the fucking annoying toolbar.
So i'd like to know if there are any third party webcam app available on the net that can replace that shitty software ? Tried google and one app but it doesn't seem to work with the Chicony models. There is also ActiveCam but it seems that it's for surveillance or some shit ?
Remove the app and get yourself amcap. On my laptops inbuilt cam I was able to change the settings with that software, without having anything else installed
Well i just fixed my problem by digging on the Toshiba site and found some updated drivers for the cam. The model of the laptop wasn't listed in the compatibility list but it works ace. Strangely those updated drivers were not listed under the A200 model , only the old and defective 2007 were. Go figure
Way to go Toshiva lol. At least now it works so i won't complain any further.
