Every couple of weeks I have to delete a forum_t or forum_f cookie or else the site won't de-mark threads I visit. Why is that ?
Firefox 4 here, has been like this for ... years.

A slippy bastard unfortunately. I happens only on a select few cases and I'm unable to reproduce it.
I know you see the eons pass and the board still shows its trademark 2002 phpBB logo down the bottom, I know you'd all like to see an upgrade. If it were easy we'd do it already, but this isnt just another simple phpBB board set up here. This board is so heavily modified that about half its guts arent its anymore. While all other boards were getting spammed, attacked and god knows what else ours still stands supreme.
Do you really want to sacrifice all the goodies you have now just so that the bottom could say phpBB 3.something.something&beyond?

Can you stop the site only allowing you to log in from one machine? Such a pain to continuously re log in everytime I go to work!

I like the retro style and look of this board. What I miss the most is being able to embed audio and video.

Those stuff is just horribly dangerous. Let's say that some site is somehow infected and there is a leak in flash. Voila, getting viruses from the humps, just for surfing around. And music? Same problem. No, keep that out 
Having support for dynamic images in the sig would've been nice though  |

OK actually they are supported but not the url to them.
The regular expression is a little bit too agressive
For example let's say that you play an online shooter. Counter Strike Source. And you use some tracking service to track your stats on your beloved server.
www.mygametracker.com/track/127.0.0.1:27015/pumpaction.png
The image would not be displayed because of the : being filtered out
*and we can't have .php that return images and stuff, but I'm not sure if those would actually be a security flaw, so I'm not bitching about this *

Duck-sauce, images like yours will work now.
iNatan, those wont kick in because we wont allow php scripts to explicitly generate images. An url with jpg/gif/png/... and so forth will work though.
