This month i'll be finallly finishing a Polytechnic University and getting a degree in Robotics, Industrial Robotics to be more specific.
I really want to continue studies for a Master's degree or post graduate studies, not necesarilly in this field, i'd prefer something like Automotive Engineering, or something to do with renewable energy and transportation since it's kind of a hobby of mine to get the newest info on the subject.
I did some research and i found something in Munich an Vienna, tuition fees aren't high, the cost of living would kill me though, i've got like 5 grand to live off if i'd manage to get in somewhere and i don't think i wouldn't make it for 2 years with that money.
I mean, i really want this, but i have no idea where to start..
My german is pretty rusty and i'd prefer something in english, any recommendations ?

Look into the support programs for the countries. I don't know what it's like in Germany and Austria, but here foreign students get support just like anyone else, a bit more in fact I think.

it's interesting that there are more programs for internationl students in Sweden, Danemark and the Netherlands than in Germany or Austria which are alot closer to me (Romania).
Requirements are also pretty low, and grants are easely accesible imo.

Can't help with Scotland/NZ as far as technical Universities go, sorry.
Our country is ridiculously internationally oriented, there is not a single uni that does not have a program for it. Throw in the government support and our country leading in some fields, and you've got a pretty healthy environment for international students, it's just that some underestimate the cost of things (although to be fair, in terms of living room and food you just have to pick properly). Quite a lot of Romanians as well in fact

Why shouldn't the german universities support you? I don't have the german citizenship, just a residence permit and I got 380€ a month while I was living with my parents.
Rents in Munich would fuck you up though. Supposedly it's the only city in germany that is even more expensive than frankfurt. I'd say directly contact the universities. All of them have contact persons for international affairs.
German isn't a problem anymore either. A lot of universities start to offer the courses in english too. Write them an e-mail, I'm sure they'll find ways to help you, especially as romania is part of the EU.

Almost all graduate programs in Sweden are in English; education is completely free as well. You'll probably not get any government support though. Also its much less theoretically oriented than what you're probably used to.
The schools you should look for are Chalmers and KTH.

deadline for FH Munchen is tommorow (this si somewhat stupid since the other contries it's september), the main issue is that i was stupid enough not to take the TOEFL test after i finished highschool, and i'll have to take that.
Also i really hope it's less theoretical, that's why i wanted to go to and FH not to a University, i'd rather do a hands-on thing than theoretical work, it's simply boring. |

Groceries are the cheapest here according to news I've heard recently. Only 15% of our income is spend on food. Unfortunately people are very cheap here as well, they will bitch about the price until they get it for free

Like I said, food and such just depends on where you get it from, doesn't have to be expensive.
Anything electronic or games however, we're fucked, and you know it

Yeah we have those as well and while some things are quite shit like their stuff for on sandwiches ("Brotbelag", that correct Pumpy?) a lot of it is actually really good. They've got these little steaks a la minute, very well seasoned, take 3 minutes to prepare and taste pretty darn good for the few cents that they cost 
And there are some chains which have regular sales (Mediamarkt, half of Europe has them nowadays - we used to go into fucking Germany for these ), you just gotta keep an eye out for them.

Mediamarkt is shitty. Overpriced like nothing else. Here in germany only the derps go there to shop wereleds 
Mediamarkt and Saturn belong to the same group (Metro Group) and at that time when I was looking for my tv I went there to look at the devices in real.
Price difference was 300-400€ on a 850€ tv
