Motivated by the discussion we had about Stephen Hawking and his views on interstellar travel.
Found this documentary about space made by an astrophysicist:
well it doesnt even state its a documentary but you called it one, its more glimpse of something not relating to a a short film/tv programme which is the what a documentary is.
id not even lass something under 30 mins as such really, 3 min documentaries are a joke... let alone 11.. Thd whole universe/space thing is amazing yes but I was let down after clicking your link labled documentary that you found... was hoping for more..
sorry to disappoint you but this "short programme" tries to sketch a picture how big the Universe really is and in just 11 min it does a pretty good job at that.
Space - the final frontier, these are the voyages, of the starship Ent.. oh wait..
Sometimes I get really depressed, when I think of all the space, how I will never see another planet, star, galaxy.. countless beautiful sights out there
Reminds me how insignificant I am..

For me it's the opposite. It shows me how much I don't know, and how there is much super interesting things to find out ^^

thats true you know. newton didnt discover gravity. the apple told him about it, and then he killed it. the core was never found.
Funny you mentioned that WaldoJ, the other day I was trying to find some footage of the deepest dive in history: 7 miles down with the Bathyscaph Trieste.
Only 2 people have ever been at the bottom of the Marianas Trench, more people visited the moon.
