|
 |
Just judging interest.
I have 3 Falcon 360s that are new old stock that are Jtagable.
Would you buy a Jtag Falcon (New in box, just opened to Jtag) will power supply, Av cables, and Controller (New) with a 750 Gig internal HD for $400?
They will be preloaded with Xbox patches, homebrew and emulators running latest freeboot 12625, and freestyle Dash . They will also be efused protected.
Im asking this to see if its worth my time to Jtag these boxes.
Cheers

$400? Too much for me, I would not pay more than $200
but I have seen Jtagged xboxes going for $300+ on ebay. (Just xbox, with no accessories)

But do you think $400 would be too much for everything im offering? I don't want to sell just the console then have to part out everything else.

$400 for a brand-new machine is... *shakes hand horizontally* I've seen them on eBay for much less.. and seen them for much more too. I certainly wouldn't buy one for $400, which is the reason I've not bought one yet. I'll keep waiting till I can find one for $150-200.

$400 is great imo with a HD of that size, besthijacker must be high, maybe a little less but i doubt u would ever find one for 200$ with anything but the standard drive

I bought my 640GB 2.5" in NORWAY, of all places, and it only cost me 600kr five months ago-- and Norway is considerably more expensive than America.

You see, I don't want "so-called-bundles" I hate them with passion
It's useless to me as shit. I can buy those items half cheaper over the internet
I have 7 HDD's hooked up to my PC as well as xbox controller+cables. So there is no reason for me to spend extra $200. And all that hombrew/ emulators, I could do on my own.
But people would pay PREMIUM price for such a bundles especially if its already jtagged with extras, by someone else and wish not to deal with it.

400$ ? too expensive. Plus Falcon aren't 100% stable, I wouldn't want to spend good money on something that could RROD any day.
Hell even 400$ is too expensive for a jtagged jasper, you can find them in France for much less...

I think 400 is way too expensive. They go for alot less elsewhere, granted not often "brand new(ish)", but you'll have void'ed the warranty anyway. I'd say $300 / £200 is about right.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think i tag em, and put em up on ioffer. Ebay has been pulling jtags off lately.
Like you said sabin, i looking for a buyer who will want to pay a little more, but have too do zero work other than dump there games.
@Cyclonefr
There alot better than Xenons, and with freestyle fan settings or a 12V fan mod, you shouldn't RROD anytime soon.
What price would you shoot for? Im basically just judging peoples reactions to determine my rate of return.
@Horrordee
Yea, $300 might work, have to think about this a bit more i guess
Cheers

Aww man, that sucks I hate it when eBay do that. If it helps, a guy on PSX-Scene has been selling some base-unit JTAG machines -- a few Xenons and Falcons -- for $85-150. That's base unit only though; no cables, no controllers, no hdd .. just the JTAG and that's it. Personally I think that's the cheapest I've EVER seen, and most likely ever will too. I'd have bought one on the spot if it wasn't from America (shipping to Norway would rip me apart.. and then there's customs duty)
If you can find a way of selling it on eBay (reword the add, maybe?) I'd say you'd get around $300-350 since it's the entire "done it all for you" kit.

Yea i saw that guys post a PSX-Scene. I lurk there every other day. Those are really good deals, but you don't really know the consoles history. The only others i seen that cheap on forums like TTG and such were all scams, but that guys seem legit.
hmmm decisions decisions.

I'd be down for a jtagged console. A 2nd xbox just to play free games and shit offline. Hmmmm 400 is a bit out of my price range this month, but I would consider if it came with a manual and shit to tell me what to do and what not

This is like the 213123th time Ive seen you talk about jtags being super expensive, I got a unit, xbox only jtagable, had to solder the stuff myself for £70, a month later I bought a prejtagged machine with 1 wireless controller and an av lead and power brick for £75.I see jtaggable old dash 360s on ebay uk everyday for £70, you cant be looking hard enough.Also can anybody really see a visual difference between hdmi and VGA?I cant.
here, jtaggable 360 for £60, took me all of 10 seconds to find

Since this is, apparently, the 213123th time you've seen me mention the price.... then you should also know that I have REPEATEDLY said; I lack the skill and the desire to JTAG the machine myself. Shit, I won't even perform an MRA solder hack on my drive to retrieve my keys, so JTAGing is well out of the question. I also won't touch Xenon (which that link is) if my old Falcon could die, then there's definitely more chance of a Xenon kicking the bucket.
Try finding a JTAGed machine for that price, then we'll talk.
Besides, what's the butthurt about? Have I offended you in some way? There's an ignore button if my posts are irking you.
