More and more as an adult I notice I cheat more in games because I no longer have time to grind and level up my characters in games like RPGs, I don't max out to level 99 or anything like that but just enought to save me the time of grinding to a certain level. I think my gaming days are coming to an end, have things changed for others as an adult. I figure when I am in my late 30s I probably won't be gaming any more Sad

If anything, my guess would be that cheating like that will only serve to make you quit gaming faster. The whole point of the game (an RPG especially), is to feel like you're progressing/becoming stronger as you put more time in it. Once you've removed that aspect, there's little to no reason to play anymore, unless you simply want to finish the story.

Find a little self-control and stop. Even if you don't have as much time to play, you'll be better off in the long run.

In RPGs my sense of accomplishments comes from exploring and taking it all in, I don't really like grinding in an area just because I get good xp in the same area all the time, one thing I don't like about newer games is that I don't find as many secret areas as in the old days when exploring, linearity kind of sucks. Also like you said I enjoy the progression of story and that keeps me going to the end. My boss battles aren't easy either since I don't level up to the max with cheats, just enough to not grind and I don't unlock all weapons until after I finish the game anyway.
