If you only need a chip that can play backups get a cheap DUO2 SE. It basicly play backups and that's it. I got this chip myself and it works perfectly and it's much cheaper.

But if you want something more advanced with abunch of crap things get a ripper 3 or matrix.

But what do you need the chip to do? Thats a question you have to ask yourself BEFORE you get a chip.
If you only need a chip that can play games and nothing else, get the DUO2 SE, it's mad cheap.

So what do the more expensive mod chips do besides playing backups?

Flashable bios, direct boot anything without the need of reset pushing etc.
Look at the webpages for each chip and you will get the whole list Smile

But mainly useless stuff (if your a normal gamer) that no one really needs unless your the biggest nerd/geek on the planet Smile
