But did you get the job or is that the next phase of the interview?
I went through exactly the same thing for a kickass job ~2 years ago, me and other 2 guys were selected from around 25 people too.
Out of us only one would get the job.
Not getting it fucked me up bad back then... but things are much better now.

500euro per day would make 11.000 euro a month -> 17.000$
50€*10hrs... And if the company is willing to pay him 50€ per hour, that is not TOO much if it is just a contract based job

A trucker wouldn't make that much unless he was driving around with dangerous equipment, nuclear waste, dangerous chemicals etc. |

Maybe he drives around and regularly stops at gas stations and diners and does a bukkake routine with everyone there. That would explain the amount he's getting.
Or he has a big-ass truck 100% self-owned and getting contracts is easy..
