Right - so I can guess why I got banned the other day. No big deal. However, how come Your too lazy to leave a message in the ban message about why I was banned? Too much to ask for?

You already stated you knew what you did wrong, it was the first thing you said. If it was that obvious then surely there is very little need in it being pointed out. Mods/Admins will always provide a reason for a ban should it be required, but obvious abuse/links/trolling will tend to be met with a straight up ban.
Lets keep the "sounds like your drunk on power" stuff out of this as its the common go to line whenever someone feels like they've been treated unfairly, when in reality it is rarely the case. Mods/admins are here to do a job, politeness does not come into that job but fairness does. If you do feel like you where treat unfairly then the correct course of action is to PM a mod/admin and ask for help, doing that will see the problem solved as best as it can be. Creating a thread accusing people of being impolite and power mad will only lead to a pointless argument and no resolution.
I'm always happy to push through complaints and get an answer back to the user. For the record, it wasn't me who banned you.

Well letting someone know why they were banned is a common sense, that way you won't do the same mistake again and get banned... again xD

Indeed, although like I said in the post above, at times rule breaks are very clear (the person acts knowing they will be banned) and in these circumstances reasons are generally not given.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that is the case here as I was not the one who banned Ankh, I'm simply trying to explain what I believe the reason to be, as I've said, if the user feels they where treated unfairly there is a correct process for making that complaint known.

The point is that its not the first time You skip informning people with why they've been banned.
I said i THINK i know why I got banned. And tbh the reason I got banned doesnt really matter now. But what does matter is that its really bad modding if you cant even take the 3-4 seconds it takes to inform why somebody was banned.
I have no idea who banned me so why the hell should I post a specific mod? And also, its not about my actual banning..its more about why this keep happening (the leaving out the reason for a ban). Screw the reason why I got banned - explain to me why its so hard to take those seconds writing up the reason in the first place.
Unless you havent noticed - this IS the site feedback section. And Im leaving my feedback. Just cos You think its unpleasant feedback it doesnt really make it less important.
I concider it drunk with power - and ive got the right to do so.

Mods should also know that some mods bans people for stuff other mods don't. There is no question that a fucking explanation should be given when someone has been banned for something. If this is a too hard task for some mods, then perhaps modding isn't really suited for them.

I don't concider me being treated unfairly. Cos If I got banned cos of what I think was the reason...it was worth it since thats how I think about that subject.

*shrug* I've told you what to do if you want a resolution, you want to keep being angry thats cool by me, lets see if the person who banned you decides to reply. May I suggest that rather than putting all this effort into being pissy about not being given a reason, put the same effort into not breaking the rules in the first place.
As for this section, it relates to the website itself not the 'staff', that is why its called site feedback.

Different people handle bans in different ways and as Kenny points out different mods also have different opinions on what is worth a ban. The reason I'm telling you to contact a mod via PM is so these things can be taken to the mod section and discussed to try and bring a uniform resolution, very few mods will come check this section for complaints about them, more so when they're filled with a thousand pissed off members jumping on the bandwagon.
As I've said reasons are given more often than not. I will go back and look at your bans to see if I can see a pattern about the reasons not being given.

I don't know why you've been banned a number of times without reason, I will look into it (although I would have done so from the start if you had of PM'd me rather than creating this thread bitching  ).
The staff are also members, they actively post in other sections and things like this can make that far far harder for us to contribute on the same level as the users (anger, resentment, etc..) which is why we don't want problems being handled in this section.

Since the December 2008 you've been banned 3 times. Both of the other times you where provided a reason, so I'm not really sure what the issue is. Here are the reasons:
12 Dec 2010 - "Muslims out."
01 May 2010 - "Use the useless void for your useless threads."
I should note that the reason for ban explanations being so small is due a limitation on the ban box, not through laziness of the mods/admins.

I was banned three times I think, I have no idea why. I don't get a full reason (just some cryptic two words usually) and I have no idea who banned me. All I saw was
"You were banned for x hours..... * insert some standard/cryptic reason* ".
