Black Bean Games has officially announced that you’ll soon be able to sample the studio’s upcoming SBK-X Superbike World Championship racing game when the demo releases on May 19th this week on Xbox LIVE.

The demo will initially only be available to Xbox LIVE Gold members, but access will then be opened up to Silver members, as well as PS3 and PC players, next week on May 26th.

This game is pure awesomness. But i cant connect to multiplayer. I input username, email and password of my gamespy but when i try to connect in-game i get "login failed. Cannot connect to remote online service". Is it because i didnt install gamespy camerade or something? I had a option to install it while installing the game. Anyone got multiplayer to work?

Yes, compared to the (not bad) 09 version, SBK X should provide an improvement in both the physics and graphics sides, enlarge the playable bikes up to three different categories (Superstock, WSS, SBK) and introducing the so called "evolving track", which is based on a system that modifies the condition of the track based on grind from the bikes.

Also, this game MUST be played on simulation mode Razz

The game is very annoying with the loading screens though... You get a loading before the intro video, then a loading after the intro video, then a loading before the intro video to a track, then a loading before the track. Laughing And doesn't save the camera I use, always goes to the stupid behind the bike cam... Sad Also, menus reset after you enter a sub menu, and it goes to the first option of the previous menu, so you have to travel to where you were before...

Otherwise it is good, quite better than the previous ones. Smile Driving is fun, simulation is a must, yes. Arcade feels like MotoRacar Laughing

I didn't see a split screen or LAN options anywhere, all MP is done through Gamespy, but no key is required, so... Very Happy

the game is sweetness..
lotta multiplayer improvements (even tho no one uses voice?)..
all the stupid movies are easily disabled (rename)
full simulation or go home.. arcade shit is for faggots..

just wish they would have kept the older cockpit cams.. these new ones feel weird.. you can't really duck behind the screen on the main one.. only on the last one (3rd), which seems to be the helmet cam.. a bit tricky to get used to, but that's the one i'm gona stick with i guess..

if i ever see this in the 10eu bin i might pick up a copy just to support.. because publishers who choose not to include lame protection and let us play for free online deserve something nice..

cya on the track Very Happy

Did you use fraps to record that? What did you use for conversion afterwards?

Yes, I used Fraps, and then used MeGUI to load it. To load it, I made a small AviSynth script. Smile

Where are detailed realism settings in this one? I'd only like to turn damage and injuries off so I can get used to full sim mode, but I can't find them anywhere in this years game.

nm. found them scatered through various menus
