I bought the card yesterday and it says extremely clear on the sapphire website it's 256bit. Checking out the card details in catalyst says its 128 Sad

yep, just did like someone in another forum suggested.

This is what GPU-Z reports:

Bus width: 256 bit
Bandwidth: 128.0 GB/s

I'm feeling mislead..or maybe I'm a n00b? Confused

Bandwidth of a video card should be according to:

Effective Speed (MHz) x Memory Bus width (Bits) = Bandwidth (Mbps)


i7 6700k @ 4.4 GHZ, 2060s, 16 GB RAM, SSD, Windows 10x64.

The bus width of all 5850 cards is 256bit. GPU-Z is a reliable tool and if it shows a 256bit bus then it is in reality so.
