Non expensive ofc... The quality is not important, it's for my studies. Reliability is the most important issue. Malfunctioning printers is the devil's work.
Any suggestions?
Had an old black-white laser canon printer till now.

Back then when I thought about it, I found good HP laser color printer. It cost ~200€, and had 4 cartridges (CMYK). And I thought to myself: wow that's a great deal! And then I looked at the price of the respective cartridges, and they were around ~50€ a piece. So when you need to replace them, you end up basically buying another laser printer.
Ofc, the plus side is that you can print like tons of paper, but still I ended up buying regular all in one, with duplexer and everything.
You really need color? I found that when I was printing papers and scripts for my studies, I never used color...

On my second Samsung printer now and I've been pleasantly surprised by their reliability. I only got rid of the previous one because I did find myself to need colour quite regularly, so I went from an ML-12...something to a CLP-325N. Worked flawlessly for some 4 years or so before that and so far the 325 has done its job flawlessly
Dingo's right though, it's not worth buying new cartridges unless you can get them via someone's business. I myself just put them down as a business expense (so I can get the VAT back) as well as being able to buy wholesale, but without that you typically have to pay 40-50 EUR for a cartridge.

I'm also looking for a printer and didn't get one yet because I couldn't find a printer reliable enough.
About the ink, around here there's a big market of non-original inks that cost a lot less. If you're not a printing quality expert, you wouldn't notice the difference.

Yes, you would; and laser printers don't use ink, but toner, where the difference is even more apparent (because each toner requires different temperatures for optimal results)

And don't forget the cheap knock offs usually shorten a printers lifetime, with laser printers you don't really want that
