Older PC game, anyone remember it?

I feel like an ass not remembering these games names.

both was a isometric view down..

one you had 4 soldiers (cant remember exactly think it was a soldier, medic, sniper, and something else) and you had to use each ones ability to move across the map to finish each one, sort of a puzzle game.

also there was another game that had the same puzzle feel, but you started in an insane asylum. with one character..it had a very dark, grungy gritty feel to it. only parts I remember is one part at the beginning, there is a guy just standing there slamming his head into the wall with a bloody spot where hes done it so long.

My son was asking me about games I played that I liked that used puzzles and planning after watching me play portal, and that was the best one I have fond memories of.

anyone remember the name of these 2 games?

the other one I dont remember enough about it to do a google search that returns anything useful Razz

You're talking about my fav. games right here - others already gave their names. God, those were epic times to be a PC gamer!
