I had a psp1000 and wanted to like the games but the ghosting for me was unbareable, seemed like it had a refresh of about 50 ms, did they ever fix this in any of the revisions to ZERO ghosting?

It's a hardware epicfail of the LCD of the earlier models. It's fixed on 3000 and Go.
